Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held a telephone conversation with Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Hussein Ibrahim Taha on Tuesday.
While condemning Israeli criminal attacks on Iran’s diplomatic missions which are contrary to all the rules of international law and the convention on diplomatic and consular rights, the top Iranian diplomat called for appropriate and immediate action by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation against the crime committed by the Israeli regime.
Hussein Ibrahim Taha, for his part, referred to the black history of the Zionist regime in committing crimes and strongly condemned the new crime of this regime against diplomatic sites.
He also expressed solidarity with the government and nation of Iran, offering condolences to the families of the martyrs of this criminal attack.
In another telephone conversation on Tuesday, Amir-Abdollahian and his Omani counterpart Sayyid Badr Albusaidi discussed the terrorist attack of the Israeli regime against the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
Oman’s Foreign Minister expressed condolences for the martyrdom of Iranian military advisers in the missile attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s consulate in Damascus, strongly condemning the Israeli attack, and terming the attacks as a violation of international law.
Discussing recent developments in the Gaza Strip, the two sides also stressed the need for international efforts to end the atrocities of the Zionist regime as well as establishing an immediate ceasefire and sending humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
