Brigadier General Esmail Ghaani, the IRGC Quds Force commander made the remarks in a ceremony on Wednesday to commemorate the 40th Day after the martyrdom of Major General Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi, one of the martyrs of the Zionist criminal regime’s missile attack on the consular section of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s embassy in Damascus, where he described the Iranian retaliatory operation of entitled True Promise as having special characteristics.
“In the Black Sea, 7 to 8 carriers were deployed to stop the operation, and more than 200 aircraft were in the sky from the night of the operation until the end. The region became the densest point in the world in terms of air defense against our operation, something that one cannot find in history,” the Iranian commander said.
The commander of the Quds Force criticized the three major European powers for joining the Western protection of the Zionist regime on the night of the Iranian True Promise Operation and said Iran would hold those three states responsible.
“France, Germany, and Britain, who promised the planes on the night of the True Promise operation, should not think that everything is over and gone, They have to be held to account still,” Ghaani asserted.
He further warned the regional states not to rely on Washington for their security as they cannot receive as much support as the Zionist Israeli regime did against Iran’s operation.
Iranian military conducted a successful punitive attack on the Zionist regime of Israel on April 13 in response to its earlier terrorist attack on Iran’s consulate in Damascus, Syria on April 1.
