The Supreme Court of New York ordered the retrial of “Summer Zeros”‘s complaint against Donald Trump.
According to the Daily News, before leaving the White House on January 20, Trump had said that Zeros could not pursue his case because he could not sue an incumbent president. He also accused Zerus of lying about the rape charge.

The New York Supreme Court ruling will likely mean that Zerus’ case will be returned to a lower court in Manhattan, giving Zerus’s lawyers the opportunity to question Trump.

During the 2016 election campaign, Summer Zeros claimed that Trump forcibly touched her in a hotel and kissed her without permission. Trump called her a scammer in a tweet at the time, following a lawsuit filed by Ms. Zeros.
