Iran’s Parliament Speaker: Asia greatly improves, this fact fulfilling Asian Miracle

Speaking at the 13th Plenary Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) hosted by Turkey, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf declared, “We need a new fair international order to be fulfilled, which Asia will be its major inspiration. Besides, regarding the issue, it is important for us to be committed about multilateralism as a pattern of Asian cooperation”.

“Nowadays Asia has achieved a position in the world which can play an important role to address global problems. Asia has greatly improved in recent years and this fact is fulfilling Asian Miracle,” he added.

Regarding the assassination of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, the Iran’s Parliament Speaker said, “Undoubtedly the criminal move, the assassination of martyr General Qassem Soleimani, by former US President Donald Trump is a transparent and absolute example of National Terrorism. Also, Trump, his deputies and his accomplices should be accountable and charged”.

He went on to say, “The insult of obscene magazine of Charlie Hebdo at the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei proves that we should stand against the damage to cultural identities of the nations”.

“All of us have witnessed in recent years that America has stained peace and international security by adopting unilateral approach. Also, we see that Western countries are working to introduce their own cultural values as superior ones and impose them against Asian community by different ways. Therefore, all these cases show that Asian countries should strongly stand against this unilateralism which makes a further division between the North and South,” he concluded.
