The head of the Suleiman Mosque’s Department of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts announced the restoration of the unmarked monument using national funds and the city’s facilities.
According to didgahnews.ir , Musa Ahmadpouria stated on Saturday, September 11, 1400: “And 200 million rials is being done.” He said that the restoration of this historical monument has started some time ago and efforts are being made to finish it in early October, adding: Led; “But with the follow-up of the people’s representative in the parliament and the director general of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts, the work of restoring and organizing this work from the national credit was put on the agenda.”
“After documenting and cleaning, the repair and replacement of the side walls and the execution of the paving leading to the first terrace was done in the form of drywall and using the same type of stones,” said the head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Masjed Soleiman.
He added: “In the next step, according to the procedure, the faults in this structure will be secured by implementing gabions.”
Bardenshandeh Temple is one of the most valuable open-air shrines in the world, which has been registered in the list of national monuments. This work is located 10 km from Masjed-e-Soleiman city, on the Indika road.
The unbuilt temple, like the top of the mosque, is made of completely dry porcelain and no mortar is used in it.
According to Professor Gershman, and considering the artifacts, reliefs and carved stones, the main foundation of this temple probably belongs to the Achaemenid period and the traditional pattern of Persepolis and Pasargadae.
