According to didgahnews, Hossein Amirabdollahian wrote in this tweet on Wednesday night: Tonight in the historic city of Samarkand, I signed the memorandum of commitment for the permanent membership of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization with the Secretary General. He added: “Now we have entered a new phase of various economic, commercial, transit, energy, etc. cooperations.” Amir Abdullahian stated: The Secretary General of the Organization congratulated Iran on permanent accession and signing the document and called it an important development.
