Safari who is in Baku to attend the 27th meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization Council of Ministers, met and held talks with Bayramov on Monday evening.
The two sides reviewed the latest developments in bilateral relations in all political and economic areas and the positive outlook ahead, emphasizing permanent peace and stability in the South Caucasus region.
They also highlighted the need for regional countries to play a constructive role in the framework of regional initiatives such as the 3+3 format and the rejection of foreign meddling in regional issues.
The realization of the North-South Transport Corridor, the completion of joint economic projects, as well as consular issues were other topics discussed in the meeting.
Safari also met and held talks with Tajik foreign minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin, discussing the bilateral relations between Iran and Tajikistan and the latest regional and international issues.
