Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf discussed the latest developments and Zionist regime’s crimes in Gaza with Ibrahim Boughali, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Algeria.
Referring to the cooperation between the parliamentary delegations of Iran and Algeria in the recent meeting of the International Inter-Parliamentary Union in Angola, he emphasized the appropriate actions of the two countries in supporting the defenseless people of Palestine.
He said that considering the inhumane attacks of the child-killing Zionist regime against oppressed Palestinian women and children, immediate action must be taken among Islamic countries to stop the oppressive attacks of this usurping regime in the Gaza Strip.
Iran’s parliament is fully prepared to hold an extraordinary meeting of the Palestine Permanent Committee at the level of the head of parliaments of Islamic countries to examine practical solutions to support the Palestinians, Ghalibaf emphasized.
While appreciating Iran’s positions in supporting the Palestinians, Ibrahim Boughali stressed his country’s support for the oppressed Palestinians, saying “Algeria is a country of freedom seekers and revolutionaries, Therefore, our positions in supporting the Palestinian ideals and the realization of the rights of this nation are firm forever”.
Regarding the recent session of the International Inter-Parliamentary Union in Angola, Boughali added that despite the genocide of the oppressed Palestinians and their forced migration from their homeland, no serious action was observed by some Islamic countries in this meeting.
Welcoming the proposal of the Iranian parliament speaker to hold an extraordinary meeting of the Palestine Permanent Committee in Tehran, he emphasized stopping the barbaric crimes of the Zionist regime and examining practical solutions to help the people of Gaza.
