Iran-Nicaragua ties beyond conventional political ones
In the ceremony of receiving the credentials of the new Nicaraguan ambassador, Ramón Alberto Moncada Colindres, Raeisi hailed Nicaragua’s positions on international issues, including the crimes committed by the Zionists against the Palestinians in Gaza, adding that if other countries had such positions, the Zionist regime and its supporters would not have dared to commit such crimes against the oppressed and powerful Palestinian nation.
The President considered it necessary to follow up on the full implementation of the agreements of his visit to Nicaragua by the ambassador of this country and the relevant authorities in the two countries.
The ambassador of Nicaragua, for his part, said that the two countries are on the path of deepening and strengthening relations with each other in various fields, adding that the government and nation of Nicaragua express their solidarity with the nation and government of Iran over the recent terrorist attack in Kerman.
Iran ready to expand cooperation with African countries, including Burkina Faso
Iran’s president in the meeting with the ambassador of Burkina Faso described the relations between the two countries as growing and said countries like the United States, some Western governments, and the Zionist regime are the main source of terror. Raeisi further emphasized the readiness and willingness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to expand cooperation and deepen and strengthen relations with African countries, including Burkina Faso. In this meeting, the Ambassador of Burkina Faso Mohammadi Kaboureh, for his part, announced his country’s desire to develop relations with Iran and expressed hope that he would be able to take effective steps in this direction during his mission.
