Heading a high-ranking political and economic delegation, Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi arrived in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, at the invitation of his Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday.

Speaking to the reporters before departing for Turkey on Wednesday morning, Raeisi referred to the common position of Tehran and Ankara in supporting the Palestinian nation.
Raeisi stressed that efforts that have been made to stop the bombardments have failed due to the support of the US and Western countries for the Israeli regime.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Raeisi said that Iran considers Turkey as a favorable partner to expand bilateral ties with.
He also called for developing regional and international relations between Tehran and Ankara.
