“This move is irresponsible and is against the expected context in diplomatic relations,” said the embassy in a statement on Tuesday.
It emphasized that Iran will continue its efforts to expand relations with Sweden while respecting all the obligations and necessities existing in bilateral ties.
The statement called on the Swedish government to avoid publishing incorrect information and provocative remarks about the Islamic Republic of Iran and instead help set Sweden-Iran ties on its right path.
