Shaehbaz Shraif made the remarks in a post on his X account on Thursday.
“I received a congratulatory call from my brother H.E Mr. Raisi, the president of Iran,” to congratulate him on his re-election as the new prime minister by the country’s National Assembly, Sharif wrote in his post.
The Pakistani premier added, “We reaffirmed our resolve to closely work for the betterment of our countries and the region.”
President Ebrahim Raeisi expressed Iran’s readiness to expand all-out relations with Pakistan in a Monday phone call with Pakistan’s newly elected.
