Radan’s trip to Malaysia focused on consultation in various security areas between the two nations.
While in Kuala Lumpur, the Iranian police chief held a meeting and talked with the Minister of Home Affairs of Malaysia Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
In the meeting, Radan praised Malaysia’s international support for the stances of the Islamic Republic of Iran om the on the international stage.
Attaching great importance to expanding and strengthening Tehran-Kuala Lumpur police cooperation, Radan announced the Iranian side’s readiness for joint bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially speeding up the extradition of criminals, fighting against crimes related to the fields of cybercrimes, illegal drug trafficking and transnational crimes.
Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, the Malaysian minister, for his part, voiced his country’s readiness to receive the experiences of the Iranian police, especially in the field of military science and techniques.
During the meeting, the two sides emphasized the prevention of organized crimes, cyber, drugs and terrorism-related crimes within the framework of the memorandum of understanding.
