After his arrival in Ankara on Tuesday, Hossein Amir-Abrollahian told reporters, “Ties between Iran and Turkiye are on the right track and today we can consider the country as a neighbor who has the best interactions with Iran,” while adding that he would discuss bilateral and regional issues during his meetings with Turkish officials.

The Iranian Foreign Minister said, “During the meetings with the President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, we will talk about regional issues including the development in Western Asia, South Caucasus and other international issues as well”.
