During the talks, Amir-Abdollahian said the Islamic Republic understands Turkey’s security concerns and stressed the need for ending the concerns.
Achieving that goal necessitates constant security talks between the two countries, said the Iranian foreign minister, adding that a resort to ground military operations will not only fail to solve the problems but will cause damage and complicate the situation.
He voiced Iran’s readiness to offer any assistance to help resolve the existing problems between the two countries through political means.
The Turkish foreign minister, for his part, explained the current situation and the positions of the country. He praised the constructive role of the Islamic Republic and it was agreed for the two sides to continue their contacts.
