“The events in Gaza revealed the true face of these Westerners and today we are witnessing a confrontation between an ‘honorable current’ and evil current on the opposite side,” President Ebrahim Raeisi said while addressing his cabinet meeting on Sunday afternoon.
He explained that the honorable current is led by university students while the opposite evil current is headed by leaders who are “aggressors and abusing the law, and the human rights and freedoms of the Western man.”
Raeisi added that the Iranian academicians have declared their support for Western students and their professors amid the massive crackdown on their Western counterparts.
“The message of solidarity and declaring support on the part of the students and professors of our country for the recent movement of the American and Western students and professors will make them stronger in materializing the rights of the oppressed and powerful Palestinian nation,” he stressed.
