Sacrilege of holy shrines will not be compensated except probe on trouble-maker origin

In a message on Thursday, Supreme Leader strongly condemned the deadly terrorist attack in the Shah Cheragh shrine in Shiraz and expressed condolences to the families of the victims of the shooting attack.

The heinous crime in the holy shrine of Hazrat Ahmed bin Musa (PBUH) which led to the martyrdom and injury of dozens of innocent men, women, and children, brought a lot of sorrow, Ayatollah Khamenei said.

Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that the perpetrator or perpetrators of this heinous crime will surely be punished, but the pain of the loved ones and the desecration of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) will not be compensated except by searching for the roots of these disasters and taking decisive and wise action about it.

Touching upon the duties of citizens in confronting the enemies, traitors, or ignorant agents, Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted that all people and organizations including the security apparatus, the judiciary, the activists in the field of thought and dissemination, plus all dear people must stand united against a movement that disrespects the lives, safety, and sanctities of civilians.

At the end of his message of condolence, Ayatollah Khamenei stated that “I offer my condolences to the bereaved families of this incident, to the residents of Shiraz and to the entire Iranian nation, and I pray to Almighty God for the recovery of the injured.”

Iran’s esteemed nation and the responsible offices will definitely foil the heinous plot of the enemies. God willing, he underlined.

A terrorist attack happened on the Shah Cheragh shrine in the southwestern city of Shiraz on Wednesday evening which led to the martyrdom of 15 and 27 others were wounded.
