In this phone conversation, the Iranian top diplomat Hossein Amir-abdollahian and Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström discussed the latest state of bilateral relations.
Referring to the historical relations between the two countries, the parties emphasized the necessity of consultation in areas of interest and strengthening diplomatic consultations.
The exchange of views on some consular issues was one of the other topics discussed in this round of talks.
Amir-Abdullahian and his Swedish counterpart had met in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting last August.
