The official stated that the casualties include both Venezuelan military personnel and civilians.

This comes as no official death toll has yet been released regarding the US military attack on Venezuela. Washington, meanwhile, is attempting to portray the assault as having targeted only military facilities and claims that it resulted in no casualties.

The US bombardment of various areas across Venezuela also caused widespread power outages in large parts of the country.
