“The world will never forget the moans, cries, and martyrdom of the sick and helpless children and women of Al-Shifa hospital and dozens of other hospitals in Gaza,” Kan’ani wrote in a post on his social media account.
He made the remarks on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zaynab, the granddaughter of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon them), which marks National Nurse Day in Iran.
“We honor the invaluable efforts and services of the community of nurses and defenders of Iranian health, as we witness the heinous crime of the Zionists in direct and deliberate attacks on hospitals and medical centers in Gaza,” Kan’ani stated.
He added that the Zionist regime’s incessant bombardment of Gaza has killed 198 doctors, nurses, and paramedics, destroyed 55 ambulances, and put 25 hospitals in the besieged enclave out of service.
The Iranian diplomat went on to assert that the defeat and destruction of the Zionist invaders is inevitable, as was the case for all invaders and aggressors throughout history.
