According to the report by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, in the phone call, Shoukry once again expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and their companions, and expressed solidarity with the Iranian nation.
Ali Bagheri Kani and the Egyptian foreign minister also discussed the bilateral relations between Tehran and Cairo and the situation in Gaza.
