During a meeting on Tuesday, Delkhosh and Wickremesinghe discussed issues of mutual ties.
Referring to the emphasis of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on developing relations with Sri Lanka, especially in the economic field, Delkhosh outlined the priorities of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Colombo based on the headline of the missions assigned by Iran’s President and the Foreign Minister.
Wickremesinghe described Tehran-Colombo ties as important, noting that his latest meeting with President Ebrahim Raeisi in New York was very constructive and called for developing and deepening ties with Iran in all fields.
