Nasser Kan’ani wrote on his social media account that according to the official news published by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), a significant number of countries donating to the agency have stopped their aid only because of an unproven claim made by the Zionist regime, indicating that some UNRWA employees assisted Hamas for the October 7 operation.
He continued, citing the UNRWA chief that if the suspension of financial aid continues, they will most likely have to stop their operations not only in Gaza but throughout the region by the end of February.
Kan’ani noted that it is a bitter irony that even though the Israeli regime has killed more than 26,000 Palestinians in 120 days and left tens of thousands of citizens injured, none of those countries, apart from expressing concern and some ineffective political shows, did not put any restrictions on political relations with the Zionist regime.
“Awakened consciences will judge!” the senior Iranian diplomat stated.
