Iran’s Energy Minister Ali-Akbar Mehrabian will be the host of the event, which will be participated also by Tajikistan’s Minister of Energy and Water Resources.
The deputy Iranian Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy, Mehdi Safari announced, “Fortunately, the process of holding Joint Economic Commission meetings with many partner countries has been strengthened and it is expected that with the diligent follow-up and implementation of the agreements and memorandum of understandings reached in these meetings, we will witness further expansion of economic and commercial cooperation with these countries”.
Stressing on the importance of maintaining and improving mutual relations and cooperation with Tajikistan, Safari said, “The expansion of cooperation in different trade, financial, energy, transportation, industry, technical and engineering, health, investment, and tourism fields will be on the agenda of the commission session”.
The 14th edition of the Iran-Tajikistan Joint Economic Commission was held six months ago in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
