In the Saturday phone call, the top Azeri diplomat underlined the need to strengthen dialog and regional mechanisms without the interference of extra-regional countries.
Amir-Abdollahian, for his part, stressed the necessity of bolstering regional mechanisms to establish peace and boost convergence in the region, saying, “The more active we make regional cooperation formats, the more benefits regional countries will reap.”
The two foreign ministers said they are pleased that Tehran and Baku have boosted their cooperation, emphasizing on more collaboration at regional and international levels.
