Addressing the sermons of this week’s Friday prayer, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami, temporary Friday Prayers Leader of Tehran hailed the massive turnout of the Iranian nation at Iran’s Parliamentary Election 2024 held on March 1st.
By attending the polling stations, the Iranian nation renewed its alliance with the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, he said, adding, “People voted yes to the Islamic Republic once again by participating in the elections.”
Iranian people are loyal to the revolution and have shown their loyalty in the election, he said.
This election had a real winner and a real loser, he said, adding that the Iranian nation was the real winner.
But the real losers were the enemies of the nation, who expected to witness a weak election, but their hopes were disappointed with the vigilance of the people, Khatami said.
