Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan discussed the latest developments in Gaza over the phone on Sunday.
The telephone conversation took place in continuation of the ongoing consultations between Tehran and Riyadh to discuss the latest developments in Palestine, a readout of the phone call by the Iranian foreign ministry said.
The necessity of collective regional and international action to immediately stop attacks against civilians, continuous delivery of humanitarian aid and counter the forced displacement of Gaza residents was emphasized in the conversation.
Emphasizing the continuation of consultations between the two countries was one of the other topics discussed by the foreign ministers in the phone call, according to the statement issued by the Iranian foreign ministry.
