Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Setayeshi said, “So far, more than 800 letters and judicial orders have been sent to legal centers and 154 defendants of the case, 96 of whom are Americans, have been identified and prosecuted”.

“Judicial orders have been sent to the 96 American defendants in Martyr Soleimani’s case,” he added.

“Other countries such as Germany and the UK are also accused in this case,” he went on to say.

Since the suspects are not merely American nationals, the Iranian judiciary sent judicial representations to seven countries, including Germany and Britain, the spokesman stressed.

“Moreover, three rounds of joint meetings have been held in Baghdad and Tehran and the fourth round is to be held early next week in Tehran.”
