President Raeisi held separate meetings with Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, the prime minister of Iraq, and Fumio Kishida, the prime minister of Japan.
No further details was published about the contents of the meetings.
The president arrived in New York Monday at the head of a political delegation.
This is the second time that Raeisi has been to New York to address the UN General Assembly. He addressed the UNGA last night.
The president has held meetings with his counterparts in addition to the UN Secretary-General while inn New York.
