Following the resignation of Rostam Ghasemi, as Iran Minister of Roads and Urban Development, and appointment of a stand-in minister, Shahriyar Afandizadeh, now the new candidate for the ministry is introduced to the Parliament on the part of Government. 

Born in 1980, Mehrdad Bazrpash is the candidate who is currently heading the Supreme Audit Court of Iran. Previously, among other executive experiences, he has worked as the vice President during the Presidency of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, member of the management board of Iran’s Parliament, Deputy of Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (EIKO) in provincial affairs, and CEO of Saipa and Iran Khodro Co.

For the educational background, he has industrial engineering from Sharif University of Technology, MBA from Allameh Tabataba’i University, and PhD in Technology Management from Allameh Tabataba’i University.
