Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks in a phone conversation with his Estonian counterpart Margus Tsahkna on Thursday.
The Islamic Republic has freed all crew members of the ship seized in Iranian waters, and if the captain of the ship cooperates, all crew members can return to their countries, the top Iranian diplomat said.
Amir-Abdollahian said that the ship was seized by Iran in accordance with legal regulations.
Referring to the Israeli regime’s genocidal war in Gaza, the Iranian foreign minister urged all states to help push for a sustainable ceasefire in the besieged enclave.
Estonian foreign minister, for his part, appreciated Iran’s cooperation in releasing the crew members of the ship. He also called for collaboration among all countries to help stop the war in Gaza.
The two sides also stressed the need for expanding the bilateral relations between the two countries.
