Speaking at the 8th anniversary of the terrorist attack on the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar in Pakistan, Iravani said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran will continue its cooperation with other countries including those in South and West Asia, particularly Pakistan, in the preemptive and direct fight against terrorism”.

“Iran and Pakistan, as two neighbors, have always shared sorrows and happiness, challenges and opportunities, and have both suffered from terrorism,” he added.

“Our major stance of Iran is condemning terrorism in any form,” Iravani went on to say.

He recalled the fact that the Islamic Republic of Iran was one of the first countries to condemn the 2014 Peshawar school terrorist attack as it offered condolences to the bereaved family members and the Pakistani nation and government.

Referring to the recent terrorist attack in Shiraz’s Shahcheragh Shrine, he said that the attack left 14 people dead and Daesh claimed responsibility for it.
