The conference, dubbed “The History of Iran’s Foreign Relations: Multilateralism in History of Iran’s Foreign Relations History”, was held at the Ministry’s Office of International and Political Studies on Sunday.
Addressing the conference, Amir-Abdollahian stated that Iran considers security as the main neighborhood policy, noting that Iran will not allow enemies to target the friendship, peace, and security of the region.
Referring to terrorist activities in the northern region of Iraq and Pakistan that target the security of Iran and its neighbors, he said that Iran had positive discussions with the authorities of the two countries.
In this regard, he added that he will depart for Pakistan soon and Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian will also visit Iraq.
Amir-Abdollahian emphasized that all countries will benefit from security in West Asia, the Red Sea, and the world, adding that all parties will benefit from multilateralist dialogues and Iran is an active part of this issue.
Confirming the statements of the UN Secretary-General regarding the October 7 war, he noted that Iran continues its efforts to solve the crisis by political means and in line with the rights of the Palestinian people.
