According to the Public Relations and Information Center, quoted by Parliament news agency, Fatemeh Mohammad Beigi referring to her meeting with the Iranian ambassador in Uzbekistan on the sidelines of the Electronic Health Summit of Central Asian countries in Uzbekistan, said, “The presence of the ambassador of Iran in Uzbekistan is active, knowledgeable and with the motivation, as well as the good administrative team of this embassy and the special pursuits of the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Uzbekistan, it can be considered as the opportunities for the prosperity of Iran in Uzbekistan.

The representative of the people of Qazvin in the 11th Parliament added, “Various negotiations were held on how to expand the relations between Iran and Uzbekistan in the field of health. They mentioned them as an exceptional opportunity to expand the relations between the two countries. In this meeting, special emphasis was placed on strengthening health diplomacy, medical tourism and strengthening economic and scientific relations between the two countries”.

She continued, “Considering the upcoming programs, including the medical education document between the two countries, as well as the discussion of facilitating the issuance of visas and eliminating visas, it can open the way for bilateral presence and strengthening relations between the two countries, the existence of the two cities of Samarkand and Bukhara as common points.  The history between the nations of Iran and Uzbekistan shows great grounds for the establishment of relations between the two countries and the people of Uzbekistan are very interested in the use of medical techniques and sciences and the tourist areas of Iran.

In the end, Mohammad Beigi pointed out, “There are many commonalities between the two countries of Iran and Uzbekistan, and the use of these commonalities can provide a basis for progress for both countries. Iran is ready to transfer its experiences to Uzbekistan in all fields, especially in the field of health”.
