During the visit, the foreign minister will meet with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, his counterpart Faisal Mekdad, and Syrian National Security Adviser Ali Mamlouk.
In a meeting with Syrian president, Amir-Abdollahian will discuss bilateral issues and the latest developments in the region.
This would be Amir-Abdullahian’s fifth trip to Syria.
