Referring to the capacity of 35 billion dollars for the export of technical and engineering services, Mohammad Reza Rezaei Kouchi, Chairman of the Civil Engineering Committee of the Iranian Parliament, while explaining the meeting of his committee on Sunday, said, “Considering that our country is very rich in terms of manpower and engineering knowledge, we must provide this opportunity to the engineering community, in addition to meeting domestic needs.”
The representative in the parliament continued, “In today’s meeting, we discussed and talked specifically about the export of technical and engineering services to Iraq.”
More than 38 top Iranian companies are active in Iraq and implement construction projects, but to continue their work and return investment, they need more support, follow-up, and coordination between the diplomatic apparatus of the government and the parliament so that they have more motivation to attend.
Rezaei Kouchi emphasized that the export of technical and engineering services has brought great currency to the country.
He added, “Iraq is very important for Iran, politically and we support the presence of Iranian companies in this country. Some of these companies are struggling with legal problems that can be solved.”
The chairman of the construction commission of the parliament added, “Now the representatives of the Iraqi parliament are present in Iran, we hope that it is possible to hold a joint meeting.”
