He pointed out that the first step of the oil industry after the establishment of the 13th government was to make plans to prepare for sustainability and increase oil production, he added: Production was targeted and planned before the sanctions.

Construction of Ahwaz-Omidieh oil export pipeline to Goreh

He said that the next source of pollution in Masjed Soleiman city is related to the oil reservoir in the region and said: “Fortunately, the pollution of this reservoir is not associated with gas leakage and is considered oil pollution.”
The CEO of the National Company for Southern Oilfields added: “To eliminate this pollution, environmental studies were conducted in 2016 by Isfahan University of Technology, but the General Department of Environmental Protection has had considerations regarding the report of these studies.”
Daneshi added: In line with the views of the experts of this department, it was decided to prepare a plan describing the need to re-study the environmental conditions of Masjed Soleiman and to deal with the issues of this city scientifically and more accurately in order to solve the problems more fundamentally.
