Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding for setting up an artificial intelligence strategic center and digital oil and gas fields, Mohsen Khojastehmehr said seven oilfields of the country are being developed by Russian companies.
He added that a considerable portion of technical and engineering services, though, is being carried out by competent Iranian companies.
Based on a law that requires taking maximum advantage of the high potential and capacities of domestic engineers, Iranian companies in tandem with Russian firms are active in developing seven oilfields in the south and northwest part of the country, Khojastehmehr added.
