Ali Al-Sadiq Ali, Sudan’s foreign minister will travel to Tehran in response to the invitation of his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian to meet and hold talks with the high-ranking authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Sudan resumed their bilateral relations after seven years hiatus late last year.
In a statement issued by the foreign ministries on October 9, 2023, they agreed to develop cordial relations “based on mutual respect for sovereignty, equality, common interests and peaceful coexistence.”
