Read dayinews exclusive interview with Zahra Asterki as follows:
How did you enter the liver field?
By chance, I was selected for the national team after participating in youth competitions.
What is your best sports memory?
The moment of losing the Indian team (Luna means throwing all the players off the field) and the moment of victory against India.
Your sports goals?
Since I was a child, my goal was the uniform of the national team; But right now, I have many goals that I have to achieve, and Hangzhou is my only goal for now.
Tell me about the recent camp where you were invited to the national team, how did it go?
Most of the camps had a bodybuilding phase, but from Friday this week, the liver phase will start for the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, in October.
The quality level of camp was in the form?
In my opinion, the camp’s level is improving, although not everyone is always the same, but the average progress was good.
What is the shape of the upcoming Asian Olympic Games?
It is held every four years, but last year it was postponed due to Corona, and this highest level of competition for Kebadi is the next most important level of the world Olympics, which I hope we will enter soon.
In your opinion, what does the professional culture of an athlete mean?
Personality has nothing to do with being a sportsman or not, but for me, the moments when I calmed down my anger were more valuable than the wins, even in more violent games, it is usually harder to control the level of anger, and also when you enter the professional level, but with control over everything. You can show how professional you are.
Is your exercise program in shape now?
In the camp, when I am in the service of the team, outside the camp, I train at least 5 or 6 times a week, which I chose for bodybuilding, Crossfit and Colstenics, and the rest of my free time I do liver training and watch movies.
Finally, if you have anything to say, please tell me.
Thank you and in the end, I hope that Iran’s women’s sports, especially Kebadi, will repeat the championship and that’s it.
